Badge and card embeds
Show your Disguild listing on your own website or GitHub README with a small vote badge or a larger card. Both are images that update by themselves.
Where to find the snippets
Sign in, open your dashboard and look for Badge and card for your website or README on an approved listing. It shows a preview and ready-to-paste Markdown and HTML for both styles.
The two styles
| Style | What it shows | Links to |
|---|---|---|
| Small badge | The listing name and its vote count. | Your listing page on Disguild. |
| Large card | The name, the first two lines of your short description, the vote count, and an Invite button for bots or a Join button for servers. | The tracked invite link, so each click counts as an invite click in your analytics. |
Rules
- Only approved listings get a real image. Pending, suspended and unknown listings all show the same grey "not found" image, so nothing leaks about listings that are not public.
- The images are cached for about 10 minutes, so a new vote can take a few minutes to appear. GitHub also caches images in READMEs, which can add a delay.
- Names and descriptions are cleaned before they are drawn. The images never load pictures from other sites.
Image addresses
The snippets already contain the right address. In case you build your own, the small badge is /api/widget/bots/<slug>.svg (or servers) and the large card adds ?style=large.
