Votes and reviews: rules and limits
Votes and reviews help people find good bots and servers. A few simple rules keep them fair.
Voting
- You must be signed in, and your Discord account must be at least 7 days old.
- You complete a short captcha (Cloudflare Turnstile) to show you are a person.
- You can vote for the same listing once every 12 hours, and cast up to 10 votes in 24 hours.
- You cannot vote for your own listing. Only approved listings can be voted for.
Disguild does not use IP addresses to limit votes, and the captcha is the only place an IP address is passed on.
Reviews
- Same eligibility as voting: signed in, Discord account at least 7 days old, approved listing, not your own.
- Give a star rating from 1 to 5 and write 10 to 2,000 characters.
- One review per listing, and up to 5 new reviews in 24 hours.
- You can edit or delete your own review at any time. An edited review shows that it was edited.
Developer replies
The owner of a listing can reply to a review, 2 to 1,000 characters, one reply per review. Replying again edits the earlier reply.
Reporting a problem
Use the report button on a listing or a review. Choose a reason: spam, abuse, impersonation, malicious, or other. For "other", explain the problem in at least 10 characters. You can have one open report per item and send up to 10 reports in 24 hours.
A moderator can dismiss a report, resolve it, or hide a review. Hidden reviews no longer show and no longer count towards the average rating. The author of a hidden review cannot edit or delete it. Every moderator action is written to an audit log.
